Don’t Forget a Caretaker
For your safety and comfort, it is necessary to have a responsible adult available to care for you for at least 24 hours following your surgery. Many patients choose to have a friend or relative accompany them, or arrange for someone they know to stay with them during this time. However, if you are unable to bring someone with you, we can provide you with information on hiring a caregiver to assist you after your surgery. This information will be included in the comprehensive packet that will be mailed to you prior to your appointment.
